"We’re trying to press the reset button on condo prices,” says David Wex, founding partner of Toronto-based Urban Capital. “There are lots of condos at $250,000 to $350,000, but to get our new, exciting prices we had to make them smaller. We found as other condos got smaller, the elements didn’t necessarily get smaller, and kitchens and bathrooms ate up the whole unit. So we redesigned everything to fit."
